Creative Partner & Strategic DirectorJames is a Grand Prix winning strategic creative director. He is noted for his “forward thinking and innovative ideas that have a stake firmly in the real world”. He has worked for R/GA (renown creators of Nike+ and celebrated digital agency of the decade 2000 – 2010), Saatchi & Saatchi, and LBi (the world’s largest digital network).His work has been ranked in the top 7 most awarded in the world (Big Won Report), singled out for a President’s Top Pick at the D&AD’s, and featured in the top 3 of the WARC “100 smartest marketing campaigns in the world“, and most recently won the much coveted gold Innovation Lion at Cannes.
He also has 5 Gold Effies.
Creative Partner & Design DirectorClare is an award-winning brand designer, who has worked at some of the top agencies in the world, including The Partners, Futurebrand, Interbrand and Landor. She was Design Director at The Partners during it’s black D&AD pencil winning era, when it topped even Apple as the world’s most creatively awarded agency.She has also worked for some of the world’s most important brands, directing major global and local re-brand projects from brand concept, to roll out and guidelines.
Her accolades include awards from: Cannes Design Lions, Mobius Awards, New York Festival Awards, Design Week Benchmarks, and Dieline Awards.
Chief Innovation Officer Damien Hughes is co-founder of Theo+Theo sister company, Half Machine. The role of CIO involves problem interrogation and mapping, user behaviour research and the formulation of solutions to these problems that are desirable, viable and feasible. Damien has a Science degree in Psychology & Statistics and has worked within a digital or design strategic capacity for over 15 years. In that time, he has helped to advance the innovation cultures of many of Australia’s biggest brands, participating in the building of various products & start-ups, both within companies he has worked for and externally as individual ventures.
One of Damien’s innovation solutions recently made it into the top 8 in a global innovation challenge conducted by PSFK and IBM Watson on using Data for Good. He has an expert level working understanding of machine learning and application design involving AI which he is incredibly passionate about.
